The countdown begins on Wednesday 10 November with the official Christmas Lights Switch On party that marks the official opening of Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland. Expect special guest appearances, festive music and fireworks.
This festive setting, situated on City Hall Lawn, includes the magical Admiral Open Air Ice Rink, Ice Café Bar and spectacular John Lewis Wheel. With over 50 days of skating on offer from 10 November 2010 to 3 January 2011 this is a must-do Christmas experience.
And as the decade draws to a close, Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland will provide the backdrop for ‘Calennig’- the city’s traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations.
