The full star–studded cast of the Regent Theatre's Wizard of Oz family pantomime has been revealed.
Joining BBC TV's "Tracey Beaker", Dani Harmer, in the all-professional line-up is Coronation Street legend Reg Holdsworth (Ken Morley). He plays the Wizard opposite Dani's Dorothy.
Also on stage during the pre-Christmas run are hilarious ventriloquist Gareth Oliver from "Britain's Got Talent'") as Scarecrow; Matthew McVarish (Raymond from CBeebies "Me Too!") as Lion; and Aaron Sidwell (Steven Beale from "EastEnders") as Wicked Witch's Henchman, plus a full supporting cast and amazing live band.
Councillor Bryony Rudkin, Ipswich Borough Council's Culture portfolio-holder, said: "We are delighted to have such a star-studded cast, which will make this panto a great success and one that will have children from three to 93 rolling in the aisles! Wizard of Oz is one part of a Regent double festive feast - we also welcome the Russian Ice Stars in Cinderella to the theatre after Christmas."
Don't miss this fantastic fun show at East Anglia's premier theatre. Wizard of Oz is on from 17th to 23rd December. Tickets cost £10 - £19 (booking fees apply).
