The Performing Right Society for Music Foundation is working with a number of other funding partners
to offer up to £10,000 for each of 20 commissions of new music to be part of the London 2012 Cultural
Olympiad. Applications are invited from experienced not-for-profit new music creators, venues or
promoters from across the UK. Applications are invited from any not-for-profit organisation that will
oversee the commissioning process and arrangements for the first performance of the musical work.
This includes organisations, festivals, ensembles, promoters and venues, with experience of
commissioning new music, from any part of the UK. Priority will be given to organisations with a proven
track record in commissioning new work. The closing date for applications is Friday 1st October 2010.
